I am not a chinese school student. Can I participate the chinese contest?
ReplyDeleteHi, Cathy,
ReplyDeleteThanks for asking. Only teachers can register the language contests for students, so you will need to ask your Chinese teacher to register for you. Currently, we offer the contest opportunity to students only, but you are welcome to join our fun activities and enjoy performance.
I am not at Chinese school. So I have no chinese teacher. But my Chinese is just OK.Can I join this contest?
ReplyDeleteThanks
Cathy
By the way,I am carmel high student.
ReplyDeleteCathy
Cathy,
ReplyDeleteI know there is a Chinese teacher, Ms. Tung-Fen Lee, in your school. You can get in touch with her to register for you.
I'm a World Languages educator interested in providing my 165 8th grade students the opportunity to experience this cultural event...is your facility/program large enough to host this amount of students?
ReplyDeleteThank you,
Megan
Hi, Megan,
DeleteThanks for getting in touch with us regarding your concern. The size of the facility should not be a problem as we had four hundred to five hundred participants attending in 2010 and 2011. I will let our fair committees know this and will get back to you soon next week. Have a nice weekend.
Regards,
Yichuan
Hi, Megan,
DeleteI've made confirmation with the fair committees, please go ahead and do the pre-registration. Let me know if you have other concerns.
Thanks,
Yichuan
Megan,
DeleteI am writing to let you know I have not seen the registration information from you. Please let me know if you need help on the registration. You can reach me at yen945@gmail.com. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteI am organizing a field trip for my students to come to the Chinese Fair. My school may fund the trip. I am wondering whether the committee can provide us with an invoice after pre-registration. Thank you!
Shanyi
Hi, Shanyi,
DeleteYes, we can do that. BTW, may I ask where and which school are you from? You may qualified for bus reimbursement if your school is more than 50 miles away from Brownsburg MS. Please get in touch with me for details at yen945@gmail.com
Yichuan
Hi Yichuan,
ReplyDeleteThank you for the information. I teach at 21st Century Charter School at Gary. There will be 12 of us coming.
Shanyi
Shanyi,
DeleteIf you come by school bus, make sure you follow the instructions on ICLASS website to do the registration and bus reimbursement. There will be extra form you need to submit for bus reimbursement. Let me know if you have questions. Looking forward to seeing you all then.
Yichuan
Hi,
ReplyDeleteIs the fair open for all ages? I have a eighth grade student learning Mandarin and a fourth grade student who is not yet learning Mandarin. Will there be activities for the fourth grade student? From the pictures, it seems that there were last year.
Thanks,
Anna

Also, you can enjoy the performances from both Chinese and American students.

Let me know if you have other concerns. Have a good evening.
